Google Talks About Android App Security

"The last year has been a phenomenal one for the Android ecosystem. Device activations grew 250% year-on-year, and the total number of app downloads from Android Market topped 11 billion. As the platform continues to grow, we’re focused on bringing you the best new features and innovations - including in security."

I've never had a problem with a bad app doing serious damage. The worst problem I had was an app that was giving me advertisements as notifications. It wasn't hard to find the app and after I removed it the notifications stopped. This blog post explains some of the safeguards that are in place to protect your Android phone. One thing they highlight is the "Bouncer" service that Google developed to scan the Android Market and look for bad apps. It's good to know that however bad this problem is on Android Google is taking it seriously.

Have you ever had a problem on your Android device caused by a virus or malware?

Apple posted record earnings report for the first quarter of 2012

Thus, it is time to summarize. At least, the results for the first quarter of fiscal 2012, and made with great pomp Corporation Apple, reporting record earnings of over $ 46 billion.

As can be seen from the resulting numbers kupertinskaya team feels fine and is ready to conquer new heights: The company set a record, "generating a" in the first quarter of fiscal 2012 46.33 billion, of which 13.06 billion - net profit. In this last number is a whole half year profit of the company (if we talk about the profit for last year). Speaking of last year - for the same period of 2011 Apple was only 26.74 billion revenue ($ 6 billion and profit, respectively), which is less than half this year.

In general, for the first fiscal quarter of this year the company sold 15.4 million tablets iPad, 15,4 million media players and iPod 5.2 million, "Macs."

By the way, the amount realized "Mac" remarkably increased over the same period last year, when speak more accurately - as much as 26 percent, that does not comply with some traditional "flat" graphics market growth of stationary PCs. Even Apple TV content with record sales - 1.4 million consoles, it's no joke?

But the most significant increase, of course, has shown divisions in smartphones. Apple was able to realize for the first quarter of 2012 as much as 37 million "iPhones", but it's a 128 percent increase over the same period last year!

In other words, the giant apple surpassed in this respect, all the analysts' expectations (and perhaps even their own). Apple now confidently back on a solid leadership position, sending its main rival - the company Samsung - back to second place (Samsung, by the way, in the first quarter and has sold an impressive number of smart phones - 35 million, to be precise).

Thus, half (24.4 billion) of total revenue Apple received from sales of this phone, the iPhone and accessories. Indeed, Apple argues that the second quarter would be too "hot", not as much as the first, but still better than last year due to "some new devices" in the lines of the company's products ...
